Marriage of Andrzej Turaj and Antonina Gorzycka (1858)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Andrzej Turaj and Antonina Gorzycka, from the Broniewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Płowki, No 2, 1858

This happened in the village of Broniewo on the 31st of January, 1858, at 1 p.m. We declare, that in the presence of: Bartłomiej Stanny, aged 43, and Antoni Sobieraj, aged 56, both are farm owners residing in the village of Płowki, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Andrzej Turaj, aged 35, a widower, a farm owner residing in Baranowo – Grand Duchy of Poznań, the son of the deceased couple Wojciech and Marianna Turaj, born in the village of Baranowo,

and Antonina Gorzycka, aged 19, single, born and residing in the village of Płowki, the daughter of Antoni and the deceased Małgorzata Gorzycki.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Broniewo Parish Church, on the 17th, 24th, and 31st of January, 1858. No impediments arose and no prenuptial agreement was made. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
