This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Józef Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Kaczewo, No. 56, 1879
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 20th of June/2nd of July, 1879, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Jan Sikorski, aged 30, and Wojciech Sikorski, aged 70, both are farmers residing in the settlement of Kaczewo, and stated that in the settlement of Kaczewo, on the 18th/30th of June, 1879, at 12 p.m., Józef Deręgowski, aged 5 months, died. He was the son of Wincenty and Zuzanna Deręgowski nee Gorzycka. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Józef Deręgowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
