This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Tomasz Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Palczewo, No. 19, 1857
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 10th of July, 1857, at 10 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Marcin Głowacki, aged 40, and Maciej Deręgowski, aged 46, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and stated that on the 7th of July, 1857, at 9 p.m., Tomasz Deręgowski, aged 4, died. He was the son of Maciej and Wiktoria Deręgowski nee Pietrasiak, who are farm owners residing in Palczewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Tomasz Deręgowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
