This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Wawrzyniec Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Palczewo, No. 36, 1848
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 6th of May, 1848, at 10 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Mateusz Banasiak, aged 48, and Wojciech Pluskota, aged 50, both are farm owners residing in the village of Palczewo, and stated that on the 4th of May, 1848, at 5 a.m., Wawrzyniec Deręgowski, aged 6, died. He was the son of Maciej and Wiktoria Deręgowski, farm owners residing in Palczewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Wawrzyniec Deręgowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
