This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Maciej Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 81, 1863

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 19th of December, 1863, at 10 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Wojciech Pluskota, aged 70, and Marcin Głowacki, aged 50, both are farm owners residing in the village of Palczewo, and stated that on the 8th of December, 1863, at 8 p.m., in the village of Palczewo, Maciej Deręgowski, aged 50, died. He leaves behind his widow Wiktoria. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Maciej Deręgowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
