This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Józefa Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Palczewo, No. 19, 1863
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 5th of March, 1863, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Michał Hossa, aged 40, and Wojciech Pluskota, aged 60, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and stated that on the 3rd of March, 1863, at 6 a.m., Józefa Deręgowska, aged 4, died. She was the daughter of Maciej and Wiktoria Deręgowski nee Pietrasiak, who are farm owners residing in Palczewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Józefa Deręgowska, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
