This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Helena Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Palczewo, No. 77, 1854
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 7th of December, 1854, at 3 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Jan Sekulski, aged 55, and Wojciech Pluskota, aged 55, both are farm owners residing in the village of Palczewo, and stated that on the 4th of December, 1854, at 4 a.m., in the village of Palczewo, Helena Deręgowska, aged 60, died. She was the widow of Szymon Deręgowski and resided in the village of Palczewo. She leaves behind the following children: Maciej, Marianna, and Helena – who all reside in the village of Palczewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Helena Deręgowska, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
