Baptism of Tomasz Deręgowski (1852)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Tomasz Deręgowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 66, 1852

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 31st of October, 1852, at 1 p.m. Maciej Deręgowski appeared, aged 32, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Paweł Lebiodziński, aged 30, an attendant residing in Gradowo, and Michał Boligłowa, aged 30, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, and showed us a male child born in Palczewo, on the 26th of October, 1852, at 12 a.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Tomasz. The godparents were: Paweł Lebiodziński and Franciszka Tromczyńska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
