Baptism of Marianna Deręgowska (1844)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Marianna Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 97, 1844

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 15th of December, 1844, at 12 p.m. Maciej Deręgowski appeared, aged 30, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Jakób Kocent, aged 24, and Mateusz Banaszak, aged 52, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and showed us a female child born in Palczewo, on the 7th of December, 1844, at 8 a.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak, aged 25. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Marianna. The godparents were: Jakób Kocent and Marianna Lewandowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
