Administrative location in 1895 (Słownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego): Wąsewo, Powiat Nieszawa, Gubernia Warszawske, Vistula Land, Russian Empire.
1) A village and folwark located in powiat Nieszawa, gmina Piotrków, and belongs to the Piotrków Parish. It is a distance of 30 verst from Nieszawa and is located along the border with the Grand Duchy of Poznań. It has 263 inhabitants. In 1827, there were 39 homes with 235 inhabitants. In 1881, the Wąsewo folwark was comprised of 1793 morg of land: 1425 morg of garden and cultivated land, 80 morg of meadows, 4 morg of water, 120 morg of forests, and 22 morg of unused barren land. There were 18 brick buildings, a 7 and 13 1/2 field crop rotation, and unused forest area. The village of Wąsewo had 30 settlements and 30 morg of land. The village of Swiątniki had 14 settlements and 445 morg of land. According to the Regency records of gmina Radziejów, in 1557, the village of Wąsewo belonged to the Kaczewo parish and Rogalińska had 9 łan of land: part included Ruczki with 3 łan and B. Rogaliński had 5 łan of land (Pawiński, Wielkp., II, 30).
