Polish Beer Tasting

Hello,

On Friday, my friend Kirt and I, left the women and children at home and went to a Polish Beer Tasting event at the Polish Center of Wisconsin. This was the first time I had ever been there. The center is tucked away off the main road and is located on a large piece of land, with a pond and garden in the back of the building. I really enjoyed the beautiful look of the interior and outside grounds. I am going to try to convince the Fiancee to have our wedding reception there, she may want the Italian Community Center, we’ll see….Pictures of the community center can be seen here: http://polishcenterofwisconsin.org/gallery.html

They had 16 different Polish Beers to choose from. They were:

Okocim Porter

Tatra (x)
Tyskie (x)
Warka (x)
Zamkowe Jasne (x)
Żywiec (x)
Żywiec Porter

Any beer that is listed with “(x)” indicates that I had sampled it at this event. Overall, the Polish Beers were as good as I had expected, excellent! This is a yearly event, so I will definitely go again. All of the beers listed above can be found on the internet if you’d like more information.
