Milwaukee Family History Center Seminar 10-25-08

Hello,

Yesterday the Milwaukee FHC had a genealogy seminar. I had originally recieved a the regiistration form a couple of weeks ago, but did not sign up. I didn’t think that I was going to have an opportunity to attend. Fortunately, my school work group cancelled our meeting and I had to go to Milwaukee to pick up a weight bench from my parents house. On my way to my parents house, I stopped in at the seminar. the seminar had three presentations that I found interesting. They were:

1) Documents About German Anestors presented by Gary Haas
2) Surname Variations presented by Deborah Koch
3) Photo Magic presented by Bob Heck

Unfortunately, I arrived to late to see the Documents About German Ancestors presentation. Once I arrived, I went directly to the microfilm viewers thinking that I would look at a film quickly before the next presentation….Well, I missed all of the presentation that I wanted to see and spent the whole time viewing microfilms. I did receive a syllabus with the presentation information…..Oh well, there’s always next time.
