Marriage of Jakob Kochanowski and Justyna Zdziarska (1846)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Jakób Kochanowski and Justyna Zdziarska, from the Zbrachlin parish.

Waganiec, No. 9, 1846

This happened in the village of Lubanie on the 7th of November, 1846, 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Józef Zwoliński, aged 50, a mason, and Marcin Skonieczny, aged 36, a farm owner, both are residing in Waganiec, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Jakób Kochanowski, aged 23, Catholic, single, a farmhand residing in Józefowo, the son of Stanisław and Marcianna Kochanowski, born in the village of Zakrzewo,

and Justyna Zdziarska, aged 19, Catholic, single, an unskilled laborer residing in Waganiec, the daughter of Marcin and the deceased Antonina Zdziarski, born in the village of Sierzchowo.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Zbrachlin Parish, on the 11th, 18th, and 25th of October, 1846. No impediments arose and the families gave their approvals. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
