This happened in the village of Straszewo, on the 7th of August, 1881, at 4 p.m. We declare in the presence of Jakób Matuszak, aged 48, and Antoni Połatowski, aged 60, both farmers from Zakrzewo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Tomasz Świercz, aged 22, single, born in the village of Wola Bachorna – Sędzin Parish, son of Antoni and Agnieszka Świercz nee Lewandowska – who are farmers residing in Wola Bachorna, resides with his family in Wola Bachorna,
and Rozalia Nowak, aged 18, single, born in the village of Zakrzewo, the daughter of the late Mateusz – who was a farmer residing in Zakrzewo – and his widow Marianna Nowak nee Pankowska, resides in the village of Zakrzewo.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Straszewo and Sędzin Parish churches, on the 24th and 31st of July, and the 7th of August, 1881. Permission was given by the groom’s mother. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This religious ceremony of marriage was performed by Reverend Skórczyński, Straszewo pastor and parish administrator. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
