Marriage of Franciszek Smolinski and Marianna Nowak nee Pankowska (1906)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Franciszek Smoliński and Marianna Nowak nee Pankowska, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 12, 1906

This happened in the village of Straszewo, on the 25th of June, 1906, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Ignacy Matusiak, aged 45, and Stanisław Kulikowski, aged 40, both are villagers residing in Zakrzewo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Franciszek Smoliński, aged 59, a widower, a laborer residing in Zakrzewo, the son of the late couple Mikołaj and Józefa Smoliński nee Dąbrowska, born in the village of Ruszki – Kościelna Wieś Parish,

and Marianna Nowak, aged 61, a widow, residing with her son in Zakrzewo, the daughter of the deceased couple Wojciech and Łucja Pankowski nee Kochanowska, born in the village of Zakrzewo.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Straszewo Parish church on the 19th and 26th of November, and the 2nd of December, 1905. The marriage was officiated by Rev. Franciszek Cybiński, pastor of the Straszewo Parish. No impediments arose and the families gave their approvals. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
