This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Paweł Pankowski, from the Straszewo Parish.
Zakrzewo, No. 32, 1884
This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 28th of November, 1884, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Józef Soliński, aged 50, and Józef Sygit, aged 40, both are farm owners residing in Zakrzewo, and stated that on the 25th of November, 1884, at 10 p.m., Paweł Pankowski, aged 72, died. He was a laborer residing in Zakrzewo. He was the son of the deceased couple Wojciech and Franciszka Pankowski nee Wojdyła, born in the village of Zakrzewo. He leaves behind his widow Katarzyna Pankowska nee Maciejewska. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Paweł Pankowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
