This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Paweł Kochanowski, from the Straszewo Parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 6, 1883

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 31st of January, 1883, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Łukasz Cieślakiewicz, aged 42, and Jakób Matusiak, aged 47, both are farm owners residing in Zakrzewo, and stated that in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 29th of January, 1883, at 8 a.m., Paweł Kochanowski, aged 70, died. He was a farm owner residing in Zakrzewo. He leaves behind his widow Franciszka nee Krzyżaniak. He was the son of the deceased couple Stanisław and Marcianna Kochanowski nee Domańska and was born in the village of Zakrzewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Paweł Kochanowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
