This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Jan Wawrzyniak, from the Straszewo Parish.
Zakrzewo, No. 35, 1868
This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 2nd of December, 1868, at 8 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Michał Kowalczyk, aged 34, a farmer, and Jan Wesołowski, aged 40, a farmer, both residing in Zakrzewo, and stated that in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 1st of December, 1868, Jan Wawrzyniak, aged 40, died. He was a tenant farmer residing in Zakrzewo. He was born in Zakrzewo, his parents names are unknown. He leaves behind his widow, Łucja Wawrzyniak nee Kochanowska. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Jan Wawrzyniak, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
