Death of Jan Nowak (1867)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Jan Nowak, from the Straszewo Parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 12, 1867

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 16th of May, 1867, at 10 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Mateusz Nowak, aged 25, a farmhand, and Jakób Cieślakiewicz, aged 30, a farm owner, both reside in the village of Zakrzewo, and stated that in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 14th of May, 1867, at 10 a.m., Jan Nowak, aged 2, died. He was the son of Mateusz and Marianna Nowak nee Pankowska. He was born and resided in the village of Zakrzewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Jan Nowak, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
