Baptism of Wladyslaw Swiercz (1882)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Władysław Świercz, from the Straszewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Zakrzewo, No. 44, 1882

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 26th of August, 1882, at 10 a.m. Tomasz Świercz appeared, aged 22, a farmer residing in the village of Zakrzewo, in the presence of Andrzej Rutkowski, aged 48, and  Józef Szczepaniak, 50, both farmers residing in Zakrzewo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 25th of August, 1882, at 5 p.m., to his lawful wife Rozalia Nowak, aged 19. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, by Rev. Skórczyński, this child was given the name of Władysław. The Godparents were: Adam Cieślak and Marianna Kowalczyk. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
