Baptism of Stanislaw Matusiak (1847)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Stanisław Matusiak, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 46, 1847

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 29th of April, 1847, at 5 p.m. Jóżef Matuszak, aged 50, Catholic, residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Jakób Krzyżaniak and Roch Kowalczyk, both aged over 40 and are laborers residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 29th of April, 1847, at 8 a.m., to his lawful wife, Agata nee Nowak, aged 45. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Stanisław. The Godparents were: Jakób Krzyżaniak and Łucja Kowalczyk. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
