Baptism of Bartlomiej Matusiak (1845)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Bartłomiej Matusiak, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 46, 1845

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 17th of August, 1845, at 11 a.m. Jóżef Matuszak, aged 45, Catholic, a laborer residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Roch Kowalczyk, aged 40, and Wojciech Kulpa, aged 40, both are laborers residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Zakrzewo, house #8, on the 16th of August, 1845, at 3 p.m., to his lawful wife, Agata nee Nowak, aged 40. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Bartłomiej. The Godparents were: Wojciech Kulpa and Jadwiga Kamińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
