Baptism of Andrzej Kochanowski (1831)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Andrzej Kochanowski, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 31, 1831

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 10th of August, 1831, at 8 a.m. Stanisław Kochanowski, aged 28, Catholic, a farmhand residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Jan Twardowski, aged 45, a blacksmith, and Melchior Kochanowski, aged 36, a farm owner, both residing in Zakrzewo, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Zakrzewo, house #8, on the 6th of August, 1831, at 12 a.m., to his lawful wife Marcianna nee Małkowska. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Andrzej. The Godparents were: Maciej Twardowski and Marianna Kochanowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
