Baptism of Jakob Pankowski (1843)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Jakób Pankowski, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo, No. 4, 1843

This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 10th of January, 1843, at 10 a.m. Wojciech Pankowski, aged 30, Catholic, a farmhand residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Maciej Pankowski, aged 21, a farmhand residing in the village of Zakrzewo; and Jakób Gajda, aged 40, a laborer residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Zakrzewo, house #9, on the 7th of July, 1842, at 10 p.m., to his wife, Łucya Kochanowska, aged 20. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Jakób. The Godparents were: Maciej Pankowski and ????. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
