This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Franciszka Pankowska, from the Straszewo parish.
Zakrzewo, No. 59, 1838
This occurred in the village of Straszewo, on the 2nd of December, 1838, at 2 p.m. Wojciech Pankowski, aged 28, Catholic, a farmhand residing in the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of: Franciszek Musial, a blacksmith residing in Zakrzewo; and Stanisław Kochanowski, aged 40, a watchman residing in the village of Zakrzewo, and showed Us a female child born in the village of Zakrzewo, house #9, on the 2nd of December, 1838, at 8 a.m., to his wife, Łucja Kochanowska, aged 20. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Franciszka. The Godparents were: Kl….? and Franciszka Musial. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
