Baptism of Wojciech Oytaszak (1832)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Wojciech Oytaszak alias Woytaszak, from the Skulsk parish.

Popielewo, No. 19, 1832

This occurred in the town of Skulsk, on the 1st of April, 1832, at 12 p.m. Franciszek Oytaszak, aged 35, a farm owner residing in the village of Popielewo, in the presence of: Maciej Trzosek, aged 35, a shepherd, and Stanisław Michalak, aged 30, a farmhand, both reside in Popielewo, and showed us a male child born in Popielewo, in house #4, on the 29th of March, 1832, at 6 p.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Michalak, aged 30. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Wojciech. The godparents were: Maciej Trzosek and Katarzyna Michalak, from Popielewo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
