Baptism of Szymon Wojciechowski (1826)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Szymon Wojciechowski alias Woytaszak, from the Skulsk parish.

Popielewo, No. 103, 1826

This occurred in the town of Skulsk, on the 26th of October, 1826, at 11 a.m. Franciszek Wojciechowski, aged 31, a laborer residing in the village of Popielewo, in the presence of: Stanisław Michalak, aged 25, a farmhand residing in Popielewo, and Walenty Lewandowski, aged 30, a farm owner residing in Popielewo, and showed us a male child born in Popielewo, in house #6, on the 22nd of October, 1826, to his lawful wife Marianna nee Michalak, aged 27. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Szymon. The godparents were: Stanisław Michalak and Małgorzata Bojanek, both from Popielewo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
