Marriage of Jozef Lukasik and Elzbieta Kacprzak (1892)

This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Józef Łukasik and Elżbieta Kacprzak, from the Sędzin parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kuczkowo, No 8, 1892

This happened in the village of Sędzin on the 25th of October/6th of November, 1892, at 9 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of Marcin Kułpa, aged 50, and Paweł Kaźmierczak, aged 25, both farmers residing in Kuczkowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Józef Łukasik, aged 25, single, an attendant residing in Kuczkowo, the son of Jan and Marianna Łukasik nee Ludwiczyńska, born in the Gmina Straszewo,

and Elżbieta Kacprzak, aged 17, single, an attendant residing in Kuczkowo, the daughter of Józef and Franciszka Kacprzak nee Czapska, born in Wola Bachorna.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the parish church, on the 11th/23rd, 18th/30th of October, and 25th of October/6th of November, 1892. Oral consent was given by the groom’s mother. No impediments arose. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
