Marriage of Wojciech Pilachowski and Apolonia Nagórniewska (1835)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Wojciech Pilachowski and Apolonia Nagórniewska, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Miasto Radziejów, No. 1, 1835,

This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 19th of January, 1835, at 4 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Stanisław Szałkiewicz, aged 70, and Maciej Kocent, aged 40, both are farm owners residing in Bieganowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Wojciech Pilachowski, aged 30, Catholic, a widower, a farmhand residing in Radziejów, the son of the late Jan and Marianna Pilachowski, born in the village of Biskupice,

and Apolonia Nagórniewska, aged 18, single, residing with her parents in Radziejów, the daughter of Mikołaj and Tekla Nagórniewski – who are laborers residing in Radziejów, born in Radziejów.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Radziejów parish church, on the 28th of December, 1834, and the 4th and 11th of January, 1835. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
