Marriage of Walenty Zielinski and Petronella Pietrasiak (1852)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Walenty Zieliński and Petronella Pietrasiak, from the Piotrków parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Szewce, No. 21, 1852
This happened in Piotrków, on the 13th of October, 1852, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Walenty Zieliński, aged 40, and Wincenty Piasecki, aged 40, both laborers residing in the village of Szewce, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Walenty Zieliński, aged 20, single, a laborer residing in Szewce, the son of Wojciech and Magdalena Zieliński nee Witczak, born in the village of Witowice,
and Petronella Pietrasiak, aged 19, single, an attendant residing in the village of Szewce, the daughter of Jan and Marianna Pietrasiak nee Słowińska, born in the village of Tomisławice.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Piotrków Parish church, on the 24th and 31st of October, and the 6th of November, 1852. No impediments arose and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. A. Łancucki, Pastor of the Piotrków Parish and Civil Registrar.
