Marriage of Antoni Pietrasiak and Zofia Kmieciak (1867)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Antoni Pietrasiak and Zofia Kmieciak, from the Piotrków parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Świątniki, No. 2, 1867
This happened in Piotrków, on the 19th of January, 1867, at 11 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Wojciech Jakóbowski, aged 33, the village mayor of Świątniki, and Kacper Królikowski, aged 46, an organist in Piotrków, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Antoni Pietrasiak (written as Pietras), aged 30, a widower – his previous wife Józefa Wadczak died in the village of Wąsewo, a laborer residing in Piotrków, the son of the deceased Jan and his widow Marianna Pietrasiak nee Słowińska, born in the village of Piotrków Kujawski,
and Zofia Kmieciak, aged 18, single, residing in the village of Świątniki, the daughter of the deceased Walenty and his widow Ludwika Kmieciak nee Gorzycka, born in the village of Wąsewo.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Piotrków Parish church, on the 13th of December, 1866, and the 6th and 13th of January, 1867. No impediments arose and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Jan Sobiecki, Pastor of the Piotrków Parish and Civil Registrar.
