This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Jadwiga Słowińska nee Czaplińska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.
Palczewo, No. 2, 1844
This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 17th of January, 1844, at 4 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Kazimierz Gołębiewski, aged 43, a steward, residing in Piotrków; and Mateusz Banasiak, aged 48, a farm owner, residing in the village of Palczewo, and stated that on the 15th of January, 1844, at 3 a.m., Jadwiga Słowińska, aged 90, died. She was an elderly woman, a widow, and resided in the village of Palczewo. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Jadwiga Słowińska, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
