Starting New Project

Hello,

I have decided to focus some of my genealogy research on transcribing and recording/indexing select Parish films. I feel that in doing so I will be able to discover more about my families within these communities. Plus I’ve noticed that as I search through these films I tend to focus on one surname at a time, then I go back through the films again and again.

I can also share my results with other researchers.

The Parishes that I will focus on are:

St. Stanislaus Parish – Milwaukee, WI, USA
St. Adalbert’s Parish – Milwaukee, WI, USA
Sacred Heart Parish – Polonia, Portage, WI, USA
Lipusz Parish – Lipusz, Koscierzyna, Pomorskie, Poland
Straszewo Parish – Straszewo, Aleksandrow-Kujawski, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland
Zlotow Parish – Zlotow, Zlotow, Wielkopolskie, Poland

I have volunteered to send my findings to the PolandGenWeb (http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~polwgw). I am starting with the Zlotow Parish and will send the PolandGenWeb coordinator updates as I finish a year at a time.
