Marriage of Bartłomiej Nowak and Jadwiga Żywiczka (1851)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Bartłomiej Nowak and Jadwiga Grzanka nee Żywiczka, from the Kościelna Wieś parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Ujma Mała, No.12, 1851,
This happened in the village of Kościelna Wieś, on the 4th of March, 1851, at 9 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Szczepan Wasielewski, aged 31, a black smith, and Jan Jaskowski, aged 34, a miller, both reside in Kuczkowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Bartłomiej Nowak, aged 28, single, residing with his father, the son of Paweł and the deceased Katarzyna Nowak, born in the village of Jaksice – Grand Duchy of Poznań,
and Jadwiga Grzanka, aged 33, a widow, her previous husband Marcin Grzanka died on April 9th, 1850, residing in Ujma Mała, born in the village of Papros – Grand Duchy of Poznań.
One announcement preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Kościelna Wieś and Jaksice Parish churches, on the 23rd of February, 1851. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Ksawery Kaszubowski, Pastor of the Kościelna Wieś Parish and Civil Registrar.
Best Regards,
