Marriage of Andrzej Jozwiak and Wiktoria Wojciechowska (1854)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Andrzej Jóżwiak and Wiktoria Wojciechowska, from the Koneck Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Paruchowo, No 12, 1854

This happened in village of Koneck, on the 5th of November, 1854, at 1 p.m. We declare in the presence of Józef Borowicki, aged 50, a tenant farmer residing in Zołnowo, and Antoni Lewandowski, aged 60, a laborer residing in Paruchowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Andrzej Jóżwiak, aged 20, single, a farmhand residing in Ujma, born in Sadłóg – Witowo Parish, the son of Wojciech and Franciszka Jóżwiak nee Nowakowska – who reside in Paruchowo,

and Wiktoria Wojciechowska, aged 20, single, born in the village of Piolunowo – Byczyna Parish, the daughter of Stanisław and Jadwiga Wojciechowski nee Wolęcka, a laborer residing in Paruchowo, previously residing with her family.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns at the Siniarzewo and Koneck Parish Churches, on the 22nd and 29th of October, and the 5th of November, 1854. No impediments arose and the newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us who can write, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
