Death of Wawrzyniec Smurlat (1832)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Wawrzyniec Smurlat, from the Byczyna parish.

Pilichowo, No. 71, 1832

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 31st of December, 1832, at 11 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Szymon Pietrzak, aged 30, a tenant farmer, and Andrzej Cwikła, aged 30, a tenant farmer, both residing in the village of Pilichowo, and stated that on the 29th of December, 1832, at 9 a.m., Wawrzyniec Smurlat, aged 37, died. He was a laborer residing in Pilichowo. He leaves behind his wife Jadwiga Smurlat nee Wolęcka. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Wawrzyniec Smurlat, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
