This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Mateusz Wolęcki, from the Byczyna parish.

Pilichowo, No. 24, 1857

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 15th of April, 1857, at 9 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Łukasz Kwaśny, aged 40, and Józef Chrupczak, aged 60, both are laborers residing in Pilichowo, and stated that on the 13th of April, 1857, at 12 p.m., Mateusz Wolęcki, aged 45, died. He leaves behind his widow Marianna. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Mateusz Wolęcki, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
