Baptism of Wojciech Wojciechowski (1847)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Wojciech Wojciechowski, from the Byczyna parish.

Szalonki, No. 22, 1847

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 25th of March, 1847, at 9 a.m. Stanisław Wojciechowski appeared, aged 43, a taproom worker residing in the village of Szalonki, in the presence of Stanisław Kaszewski, aged 40, a farmhand, and Wawrzyniec Markowski, aged 60, a laborer, both reside in the village of Szalonki, and showed us a male child born in the village of Szalonki, on the 23rd of March, 1847, at 9 a.m., to his lawful wife Jadwiga nee Wolęcka, aged 36. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Wojciech. The Godparents were: Michał Spychalski, from Szalonki and Marianna Wolęcka, from Pilichowo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
