This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Piotr Karpik, from the Bądkowo Parish.
Bądkowo, No. 21, 1839
This occurred in the village of Bądkowo, on the 12th of July, 1839, at 6 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Maciej Karpik, aged 43, a groom, and Michał Więckowski, aged 45, a shoemaker, both residents of the village of Bądkowo, and stated that on the 5th of July, 1839, at 8 a.m., Piotr Karpik, aged less than 1 month, died. He was the son of Maciej and Marianna (incorrectly listed as nee Hajak) Karpik. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Piotr Karpik, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
