Baptism of Walenty Karpik (1837)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Walenty Karpik, from the Bądkowo parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Bądkowo, No. 16, 1837
This occurred in the village of Bądkowo on the 28th of March, 1837, at 3 p.m. Maciej Karpik appeared, aged 41, a groom residing in the village of Bądkowo, in the presence of Walenty Zając, aged 41, a farmer, and Michał Więchowski, aged 40, a shoemaker, both residing in the village of Bądkowo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Bądkowo, on the 12th of February, 1837, at 8 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Jąkalska, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Walenty. The Godparents were: Walenty Zając and Zofia Więchowska, who is from Bądkowo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
