Badkowo Parish – Research Notes
Hello,
During my research of the Bądkowo Parish of St. Matthew, I had searched and found the parish website (http://parafiamateuszbadkowo.pl/). The website listed all of the parish priests that served as the Pastor throughout the history of the parish. These types of lists can offer a tremendous help when translating Polish or Russian church records. Many times, the penmanship of the Pastor can leave much to be desired. When I have difficulties deciphering the Pastor’s name, I tend to use a list similar to the one below as reference.
