Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Newspaper Archives Search Function

For those of you that research your ancestry in Milwaukee, the death notice search on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel website has been greatly reduced. I came across a post on the “Milwaukee – Family History & Genealogy Message Board” that details the search function issue. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel website previously had an option to browse images of their historic newspaper editions. The ability to do so has been removed. Although there is a workaround, which is listed in the message board post. But, I would suggest going directly to the Google News Archive Search to browse the images.

Also, I created a links section on my blog for the Google News Archive for the Milwaukee Journal, Milwaukee Sentinel, and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
