Hello,

I have just seen a post on Olive Tree Genealogy Blog about an online interactive map that was posted on the New York Times website. The map allows you to pick a date from 1880 to 2000 and a country of origin, it then shows the population distribution throughout the United States. The country of origin was pulled from U.S. Census data. Click here to see the map.

Please keep in mind that Polish immigrants who came to the U.S. could have listed their country of origin as either Poland, Germany (Prussia), Russia, or Austria.
