Kobs Family Residences – 1885/86 Milwaukee

Hello,

I have mapped out the locations of the various residences in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, of the children of Andrzej & Antonina Kobs. This is snap shot of their residence information, as taken from Wright’s Directory of Milwaukee 1885/1886:

The families of Frank Glysz and Paul Kobs were the same as in 1880. The family of John Kobs moved from First Avenue to Second Avenue.

Frank Glysz – laborer, residence 673 First Ave.

John Kobs – carpenter, residence 803 Second Ave.

Paul Kobs – laborer, residence 802 Third Ave.

All of the other Kobs families (the families of Felix Kobs, John Włoszczynski, Stanisław Bonk, and Augustyn Kobs) would move to the 400 block of Rogers Street. This was just down the block from the established Kobs families that were previously mentioned. Also, John Malek moved his family from First Avenue to this same area of Rogers Street. In fact the families lived at 452, 456, 458, & 460 Rogers Street.
