Kujawy Parishes – Aleksandrow and Radziejow Counties

Hello,

There is a possibility that my ancestors from the Kujawy region of Poland may have moved between near by parishes. Since this possibility seems to exist, I would like to list the parishes that were in the southern region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. The map below centers on Powiat’s Aleksandrów and Radziejów, with a few parishes on the left in Powiat Inowrocław and a few to the right in Powiat Włocławek.

All of the parish names on the map have been added in the general areas of their actual locations. Also, please note that the parishes of Włocławek, Brześć Kujawski, Krusziwa, and Inowrocław are actually located further from the borders of Powiat’s Aleksandrów and Radziejów. This will be used as a quick reference guide while researching the southern region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

Upcoming posts will list each parish along with their villages and towns. Also, there will be a continuation of my Slownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego translations for the municipalities in lower Kujawsko-Pomorskie (specifically in Powiat’s Aleksandrów and Radziejów).
