Kaszubian Settlement in Dunkirk, NY

This past week, I have been in contact with a fellow Portage County researcher named Marvin Rozner. Marvin has been kind enough to share a discovery that he has made about a link between the Polish and Kaszubian families of Dunkirk, NY and Portage County, WI.

The Parish and Cemetery of St. Hyacinth’s in Dunkirk, NY lists a number of individuals with their birth place listed as Wisconsin. This is definitely an intriguing connection.

I plan to learn more about the city of Dunkirk, NY and its Kaszubian settlement. When I find out more I will post it.
