Hi!
I’ve finally found my ancestors in Poland. My 3x great grandparents were Xavery Pawelski and Rosalia Hinz Pawelski. I think Rosalia is Martin’s brother, but haven’t found the documentation to prove it yet. Both couples were godparents to the others children, not once, but many times.
My other ancestors, the Jacob Kruca (Krutza) family, along with Franz Pawelski made the voyage from Klukowa Huta to Portage County, Wisconsin along with the Yach family. They were on the Energie passenger list on the page before the Jach family.
I’ve been trying to read the church records from Stezyca. I get the basic information, however, I know there is so much more on the entry that I can’t understand. I think the records are in Latin, however the handwriting is so small and difficult to read. Is there any way you could take a look at a few records and tell me just what it is hiding from me?
By the way, I have Martin Hinz and Mary Jachowna’s marriage record and the following children’s: Anton (1830), Paulina (1831), Franz (1833), Johann (1839), Veronica (1841), and Johann (1843). I believe the first Johann died. Would you like copies of these records?
