This is my translation of the Latin language baptismal record of Andrew Kobs, from the St. Josaphat’s Parish – Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Any errors are completely my own.

Milwaukee, 1891, No. 239,

On November 22nd, 1891, I, Rev. W. Grutza, Pastor of the St. Josaphat’s Parish, baptized the infant named Andrew Aloysius. The parents were: Paweł and Rozalia Kobs nee Grochowska, the legally married couple. The child was born on the 21st of November, 1891. The Godparents were: Andrew Laskowski and Julianna Bonk.
