A village located in powiat Nieszawa and gmina Osięciny. It belongs to the Kościelna Wieś Parish. The village of Pocierzyn is a distance of 17 verst from Nieszawa and has 122 inhabitants. In 1827, it had 6 homes with 68 inhabitants. In 1882, Pocierzyn was separated from the Ruszki estate. It had an open area of 348 mórg: 289 mórg of arable farms and gardens, 3 mórg of meadows, 39 mórg of pastures, 5 mórg of forest, and 12 mórg of unused barren land. There were 8 brick buildings and 3 wooden buildings.
