This is my translation of the Latin language Marriage record of Jan Straszyński and Teresa Borzych, from the Sypniewo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Sypniewo, 1856, No. 8

On October 27th, 1856, I, Rev. Stefan Potęgowski, Pastor of the Sypniewo Parish, after the banns have been read on three separate Sundays, and no canonical impediments having arisen, officiated at the wedding of Jan Straszyński, aged 39, Catholic, a widower; and Teresa Borzych, aged 50, Catholic, a widow. The witnesses were: Andrzej Tomas and Mikołaj Fifielski.
